Product Overview

Consumer-Grade Finish on Cast Components

Smart locks and digital accessories are handled and looked at every day, so the finish matters as much as the fit. We cast in aluminium or zinc depending on detail and weight requirements, then polish and plate to a standard appropriate for a visible consumer product.

Zhigao is a manufacturer of smart lock and digital accessory parts serving customers in Europe, North America and Asia. Every order is produced to your drawing and inspected against your specification before shipment, with full documentation supplied.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which alloy is better for visible consumer parts?
Zinc alloy is often preferred for visible parts because it casts with finer detail and takes polishing and plating more readily. Aluminium is chosen where weight reduction matters more than surface detail.
Can you produce a mirror polished finish?
Yes. We cast, machine, then polish progressively through grinding and buffing to achieve a mirror finish before plating or anodizing.
How do you ensure the parts assemble correctly?
We run an assembly trial with your mating components before mass production and provide a dimensional report for the critical fit dimensions.
Do you fit threaded inserts?
Yes. Heat set and moulded-in threaded inserts can be fitted, or we can machine threads directly into the casting where the wall thickness allows.
What is the tooling lead time?
New die lead time is normally 20-30 working days after drawing approval, depending on part complexity.
How are finished parts packed?
Every part is wrapped in protective film and separated with EPE foam so that plated and polished surfaces arrive without marks.
